📑 The Moment Edit: Booking Policy

Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required to secure your date. Dates cannot be reserved without a deposit. The deposit will be deducted from your final balance.

Payment Terms
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event date. If the balance is not received by this time, The Moment Edit reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. Payments can be made via bank transfer or card payment (Stripe/Squarespace).

Cancellations & Refunds

  • More than 30 days before event: deposit retained, further payments refunded.

  • Within 30 days of event: no refund.

  • If The Moment Edit must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued and assistance given to source an alternative.

Rescheduling
Rescheduling is permitted with at least 30 days’ notice, subject to availability. If the new date is unavailable, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.

Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring the venue has:

  • Minimum space (2.5m x 2.5m)

  • Standard 240v power supply

  • Adequate time for set-up (60 minutes) and pack-down (60 minutes)

  • A sufficient and stable WiFi connection, unless alternative arrangements have been discussed and agreed with The Moment Edit prior to the event

Liability & Damages
The client is responsible for any damage caused to The Moment Edit equipment by guests during the hire period. The Moment Edit is not liable for issues arising from power cuts, WiFi restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Overtime & Additional Charges

  • Additional hours on the day: £150 per hour (subject to availability).

  • Travel fees may apply for venues outside London/Barbados.

Force Majeure
The Moment Edit is not liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, illness, government restrictions).
